Our family really loves Disneyland and we wanted to get one more trip in with Keira before the new baby arrives (plus, we wanted to somehow redeem that awful trip to Knott's!). So, at the end of January, we spent 2 days at Disney and dubbed it "Keira's Babymoon."
The first day was spent at California Adventure. We went there on a Tuesday and it was perfectly glorious because the crowds were minimal--yay!
The first ride we went on was The Little Mermaid and I thought Keira would be enamored with it like the last time she went on it (I think we went on it 5x the previous year), but she actually wasn't too interested and only wanted to go on it one time.
Rocket ride!
Wheeeeeeeee!
This is way more fun than The Little Mermaid!
The bouncing jellyfish
Last year she wasn't tall enough to go on this.
Her bravery is growing!
This is at the end of Goofy's Flight School, which is a roller coaster. She loved this ride and went on it about 5-6 times!
Lunch break!
Mickey's Fun Wheel!
This time, we went on the stationary gondola, which is much more tame than the crazy rocking gondolas!
Aladdin show
Bumper cars!
Exploring Cars Land
The boardwalk at dusk--pretty!
Waiting for the parade
Pixar parade
(which concluded our day at California Adventure)
The next day it was time for Disneyland!
We made our way to the Nemo Submarines first because the lines can get long later in the day.
Keira had not been on this ride since her first trip to Disneyland at 11 months old. She didn't care for the ride then and she still didn't like it much this time (too dark and the speakers are too noisy).
Finally, a picture with Snow White!
(we had missed her every time at our last trip to Disney)
Sleeping Beauty!
Cinderella!
Just as we finished meeting the first round of princesses (above), there was a shift change and all new princesses came out! Keira wanted to get back in line again and meet the other ones (prob another 20-30 min wait & this time Daddy was there to get these great pictures).
Tiana, who she currently says is her favorite because she has the biggest dress of all the princesses
Chatting it up!
Ariel, who has been her favorite princess for the longest time
Belle
What is a trip to Disneyland without face-painting?!
Special lunch at the Blue Bayou!
(Thanks, MomSheila for the gift card!)
Daddy's favorite restaurant because of the ambiance.
So fun!
Little Tarzan
Hey, it's Captain Jack!
Visiting Mickey at his house
Driving Mickey's car
Visiting Minnie in her backyard garden
Roller coaster in Toon Town
Clearly she did not like this nearly as much as Goofy's Flight School
We had a wonderful family trip to Disney and were so thankful to be able to spend that special time with Keira before our family changes and she is no longer an only child.

Sounds like the perfect Babymoon! I am so happy you'll always have these special memories as a family of three! :)
