Kid Swap

By far, one of the highlights of Keira's week is Kid Swap. Since the fall, she and Ella have been hanging out at each other's houses for about 4 hours at a time while each mama has a break. Below is a sampling of pictures from swap (I don't really think they're in chronological order, but it is a great sampling of all the fun!).

There are endless possibilities for activities to do during kid swap...such as, laundry!
Keira loves to help with laundry!

Swapping at Ella's house always includes SUPER fun activities like painting.

Two little chefs making their lunches!

Vegetables in mac-n-cheese...?  Whaaat?!

Cutting out collage art

At least Mackenzie & Ella can get her to eat vegetables!

Making personal pizzas--yum!

Water color fun

They were making up their own rules for Hi-Ho Cherry-O!

Technically, this wasn't a swap day, but an impromptu outing to see Hullabaloo and visit the UTC mall while Momma Mack was sick. The girls had so much fun!

Watching the ice skaters while eating our lunch.

Checking out the new playground at the UTC mall.

Just playing with random toys.
The look on Keira's face makes me think there is a disagreement going on...hmmm...?

Jumping on the trampoline!
Probably one of Keira's favorite activities to do at Ella's house!

They styled Strawberry Shortcake's hair all by themselves

Time for some science fun!
I think they are making gak...??

Ooey, gooey!

More science experiment fun!

Mixing colors, water, baking soda, etc.
Perfect preschooler fun!

The aftermath!

Arts & crafts time!

Little artists hard at work

Taking care of their sick patients...

...with power tools!

It's really fun when Grandad stops by to read books during lunch!

Pure joy

Rainy day walk

Matching headbands & leaf collecting

This girl loves to be out in nature!

Hiking the canyon

Sometimes Kid Swap includes a field trip to fun places!
This time it was an outing to Kidding Around--yay!

Two little monkeys

The "Best Friends Forever" song & dance

Easter craft

Feeding the ducks is another favorite field trip!

Thumbs up if you're a Hullabaloo fan!

Doing a little exercise to stay fit

Ella reading a story to baby Keira

Dr. Ella is in the house

Dr. Keira tending to her sick patient

Too cute for words

Doing some housework on their house!

Naptime

Making silly faces is another favorite activity!

Hunting for Easter eggs

Keira said, "Mackenzie calls this 'arms around each other'"
She has trained them well!

They wanted to have matching hairstyles

They each really wanted to take turns taking pictures of each other with me.
So funny!

Kid Swap days are the BEST!
Thank you, Momma Mack, for taking great care of Keira and it is always a pleasure to have Ella over to our house too!
